Who's interested in a road trip?

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Tiger is the worst airline, will never use them again. Went with tiger to the Sydney game last year, 3 hour flight delay (they said it wad technical issues but it was because the flight was empty) then also copped another 3 hour delay on the way back. Would rather crawl to Sydney than use tiger.

The freo game is on the long weekend, I'm heading to Perth for that one, got a cousin who lives over there

Is that the Celtic Bar? Great pub for beers before and after the game.

I'm probably going to head over for that one as well.

Don't think I'll be doing an interstate trip this season now. Going to Surfers for a week before Easter and the going to the US in May.

Likewise. Doing re-developements in the missus shop so not going anywhere this year. Next year definitely going to Brisbane and might go to Perth.

If we make the finals this year and we go interstate, then i'll go.

I'm temporarily relocating up to brisvegas for about 12 months and will be going to the bombers game.

Just when the Bombers look good I will be stuck watching the super impressive lions and GC..........

If you're staying near the Story Bridge -there is the Story Bridge hotel, coincidentally it is right under the Story Bridge. On the way to the ground from there is The Pineapple -about two blocks from the ground. The two pubs nearest the ground are Chalk and on the other side is the Australian National or Aussie Nash.

I have sampled the delights of all these establishments. All get fairly packed prior to a game -after a match I'd choose either Chalk or the Story Bridge

Pineapple will probably be our Afternoon "session" pub as it has a sports bar and Pubtab.... aftewards we will probably find somewhere that is showing the FA cup final and or the EPL... not sure where though

Hope it doesn't end up like the Sydney trip a few years ago. That ended up a little bit messy but was a fun night.
