Pre match you have to go to The Royal on Punt Rd. A classy place that not only serves cold beer but has entertainment before and after the game.

The only pub that is open before midday on ANZAC day is Young and Jacksons on the Corner of Flinders and Swanston St. It gets pretty packed though.

Ha ha, The Royal.. Pity Hosies isn't open anymore, could've backed up there after the game.

Shit Gimps...mentioning Hosies brings back memories of many a boozy Friday afternoon/evening/night before staggering out to the tram for the trip back home to Essendon (and that was the late 70's / early 80's) :D
