One Swallow doth not a summer make but...

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

As fans of this crazy football team - we F****** deserved that win.

But it still riles that just like years past (remember knocking off the then unbeaten saints) we are giant killers every now and then but when it comes to beating the rubbish - total basket cases!!

Yeah, not doubt that message in the rooms tonight will be to build on the win.

And to think we did it without Watson? Astonishing.
Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days at the Essendon Football Club.

Was nearly going to post after the team was announced that the forced ins and outs had actually made us a much quicker unit but really was just too pissed off to be bothered. Jobe of course is an integral part of our best 22 but you throw Myers, and Lonergan (as much as I love his good old G&D) into that midfield rotation as well and it becomes almost glacial.

Thats why we miss Winders and Demps so much. They might only be 2 players but both are capable of winning 20+ possies per game so that's 40 to 50 quick running possessions that we have been missing every game. That'd damn nearly be 10% of total team posessions per game. No wonder we've looked so slow. Tonight we were virtually forced to address that weakness, lets hope we learn from it.

We had a small, quick forward line tonight which may have put Geelong off at times. Great coaching.
