I must apologise. I was ready to leave you in SA after the first quarter. Your second half in particular was sensational. That how you have to play every week.

Played a great game. He was like old mate Ryan O'Keefe in the hard work he put in running up from half forward being both a lead up forward and extra mid.

He looked exhausted at the end...I have never seen him look so stuffed.

Best game he has ever played. Had a horrible first half but his 2nd half was fantastic.

Gus has done something for the first time in his career. Played a succession of good games. Tonight was the best of the lot. Well played indeed. I hope you have finally realised your potential and start cashing in.

The best thing about tonight is that we needed someone to take charge of our miserable situation and get things happening. That was Gus.

That decision against him in the last quarter was disgusting. f****** disgrace.

I'm just watching the game now and his 2nd quarter was quite reasonable.

He has taken on a new role this year and has taken the responsibility with it.

I'm a lot younger than you so you'll have to explain that to me. I was being sarcastic in my post, though I also added Davey to the "leave them in Adelaide" theory.

I know you were being sarcastic, Richards was famous for changing his mind about a bloke, and then accusing everyone else of knocking him in the first place. He even does it in a great scene in the movie, The Club.

Ah ok. I wasn't sure if it was you or I who first said to leave him in Adelaide. I know I said it tonight while watching it, not sure if I typed it. But definitely said it.

We can all look back and laugh in retrospect, but there was a valid reason why those comments were said. The end result doesn't change the fact that the first half was not acceptable.
