i find it suss that Glen Jakovich was the only guy to rate Shuey higher from the panel of judges

hahaha ahhh was he the one... the guys on the radio wondered who it was... go figure though, obviously he would rate an Eagles player higher.

Not really....a heap of media "experts" could not agree on which player was better over the season.

I'm more surprised that Bartlett voted for an Essendon player.

Im more suprised that Heppell got max votes from 7 of the 8 judges! Especially when the media had difficulties splitting the two...

Mind - Im even more suprised that Swallow came 4th, and that Breust, Savage, Conca (wasn't Bartlett on the panel?) and Clarke didn't even get a vote.

Outstanding season from him it must be said. So calm, composed and skillful. I've said on a few occasions that he has put a number of seasoned team mates to shame this year.

I think he has the kind of temperament that will see him grow into a wonderful footballer.
