Jonathan f****** Brown (that is his actual middle name) will be the worry as usual. Has been playing some pretty ordinary football but will no doubt fire up for us. Without Hurley they'll have the luxury of throwing the paddle pop lion up front as well.
We should thump them, but if our trend of playing at our opposition's level is repeated then it could be a black day.

I love big JB, but he looks like a shadow of his former self. If he kicks more than 3, then its only our poor defensive efforts to blame.(predominantly from the midfield...).
Must admit, not overly concerned about Pears missing, I think his form hasn't been the greatest this year. Would prefer to see Hooker back there at this stage.
Who else is in?
It's been less than a week since BJG joined the Red and Black, but already the world is a far better place.

Great to have Demps and Colyer back!!
Hooker I think list listed 197cm, Fletcher at 198cm, Carlisle is around 194-195cm.
Pears is only 191cm and Hurley 193cm. So missing those two haven't really robbed us of that much height, particularly down back. The question is whether Fletch/Hooker/Carlisle have the physical strength to go with Brown, the only one I reckon who could have is Hooker.
Would assume Hooker goes to Brown with Fletch looking to zone of his man and come over the top as the third man up in marking contest between Hooker and Brown.
