I wasn't thinking of Dean Wallis for Wally, but I have to grant you that one!
There was another Wally who played in the early to mid 80's for us....

Not a bad guess D2. But it isn't correct. Sticky Fingers was attributed to another foward in the 80's though....DYSON#2 wrote:complete stab in the dark for sticky fingers - Scott Lucas (didnt drop many)

Think of the idiot poster from BT Mk I for one of them. The other was a player of the 80's & 90's.

Re: Reveal The Player (Nicknames)
And one of the Blueys is Ian "Bluey" Shelton, a man to be feared at both training and in the game.
Heard a story that a young player once beat Bluey to the ball in a drill and held it out in front of him, the young player pirouetted and woke up in the rooms some time later.
And according to the old man, the wally is Wally Buttsworth from the 40's

Re: Reveal The Player (Nicknames)
Obscure early 70's wingman, John May, might be the other Wally. I vaguely recall him being nicknamed after late 40's/early 50's star Wally May but it might also have been the latter's nickname, Chooka.
