Geelong played better tonight and I think we got them on a day that they would've beaten anyone.

We had our moments though and I don't think everything is doom and gloom.

Tonight highlighted that there is still some work to do and really we are not quite there.

The potential is there though.

To me the positives are:-

Heppell in the midfield is something to continue with.
Bellchambers showed that he is important to our teams plans
A fit and confident Gumbleton will make this team very dangerous.
Carlisle is going to be a great player. Under the gun all night but fought very hard.
Crameri is a very good player.


The downsides for me though:-

Still too reliant on Fletcher
Too many horrible turnovers and decision making

Got to go through the odd flogging to learn and get better.

The core group of players are still very young and prone to the odd shitfull game.

Not going to get into any NLM or Monfries bashing.
