Steve Irwin Dead

Post by nomolos »

Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is dead. It is believed he was killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest.

He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary when it happened.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality today at Batt Reef off Port Douglas.

It is understood Irwin was killed around noon, Eastern Australian time.

Heard this afternoon, poor family

Was a big fan of his, a fantastic advocate for animals, and our whole country - didn't realise he was a Bomber either.

RIP Steve.

Yeh, total shock when i first heard. I thought my mates were telling lies and pies! RIP Steve, did wonders for Australia. As mentioned, it does show how sudden life can end, and how you must make the most of it while you're here on earth!
