Round 7 vs Kangaroos

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Tony, you forgot to mention the 6 day break from Perth too - odds are not in our favour.

Here's some possibilities.
* Sheedy/Hird might be able to rev them up about years gone by.
* Bombers step up against better sides
* Bombers might come out angrypants after the new WADA saga.
* There's going to be a laser show during pre-match. With sharks that have fricken laser beams coming out of their heads?
* North smell.
* It's indoors, so don't have to worry about a wet-weather gameplan.
* Carlisle & Daniher can only get better.

I think this whole WADA bullshit will be the straw that broke the camel's back

Expecting a dispirited effort and who could blame them.

We were shit anyway but I really feel for the players having to now pull themselves together to face more uncertainty and intrusion into their lives.

We may have been resilient in the past with all this crap going on. Now, I reckon the players will be thinking "get me outta here and get me out fast"

Yes, it will be interesting to see how the players respond. Lord knows they have been incredibly brave thus far.

We are not as shit as we have looked over the last couple of weeks. I think the no 1 message for tonight's game will be take some calculated risks. If we give our forwards half of a sniff we will win this.

All true! (except I don't know of this Lord character).

I hope tonight will be season defining and put us back on track.

I suspect it may very well be season defining in the other direction though.
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

Disgusted

f****** umps blew us away in the first half then our highly fragile mentality as a team conspired to produce vintage Essendon Panic Ball

Would have lost by 6 goals had they kicked straight

Heppell, Hurley and Watson were lions tonight

They'll be peptide testing Hurls for sure, he was a unit. I'm not devo with our game, but I am pissed at the umpiring. Umps had the chance to put the whistle away and let a good solid physical contest occur but then shat all over that by giving the free against Bags for laying a very acceptable bump.

Saw about 10 minutes of exciting play in the first and third quarters. The rest wss just hopeless desperation. Sad. Just lucky they couldn't kick.
