Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Going alright for a bloke who couldn't crack the week 1 team last year with half the team missing.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.
Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Out for 5-6 with his hammy. Season done by the look of it.
Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
A real pity ... one of our more tenacious and dangerous players.

Massive loss....
I think he would have loved the big stage of finals (if we make it...)

To quote Monty Python - "What? - with a gammy leg?"
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.
Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
How good is this bloke! Pick 55? Absolute jet.
He's a top class mover. He's a good mark for his size (like Mercuri), and he's an absolute ripping goal sneak (like Bewick). I haven't had much joy watching the Bombers the past 10 years, but Fantasia is someone who genuinely gets me pumped.

Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
He is our most important player. We are a much better side when he is in it. I have no doubt we would have lost on the weekend if he didn't play.BenDoolan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 9:12 pm How good is this bloke! Pick 55? Absolute jet.

Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Roberts likes to think that he is such an icon he can create nicknames. He still calls Tippa,
Tippingwutti
Guy is an absolute flog!!
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark
Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Totally agree. IMO, he destroyed the 1993 Grand Final with his diabolically shitfull commentary

Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Sadly, Fantasia's season has been too cruelled by injury for him to get an AA nomination (which I think he deserves). Only other one on out list would be Smith.

Ha, I reckon I could recite a fair chunk of the commentary from the '93 granny from memory. "Take me on, take me on he says...and still gets away with it!"BenDoolan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:04 pmTotally agree. IMO, he destroyed the 1993 Grand Final with his diabolically shitfull commentary
Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days at the Essendon Football Club.
Re: Fantasia the Fantastic
Ah yes, that was Ian Robertson. He was probably the best of that sad bunch in the box.gringo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 5:41 pmHa, I reckon I could recite a fair chunk of the commentary from the '93 granny from memory. I dunno...Anthony McDonald-Tippungwutti is not too shabby
Tippingwutti
Guy is an absolute flog!!
Sandy kept robotically blurting “correct!” after Gerard Healy’s captain obvious statements, then use stupid Sandyisms like “oh my hat” after a great bit of play (ffs)
![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
And what was “and he kicks it straight through the middle as if it were on a wire”???
![Brick wall ](*,)](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)
They (except Robbo) seemed to try too hard to impress international viewers - “zone deefense”, and trying to explain Fletcher’s young status as completing “matriculation”. GAGF.
