Which kid excites you the most?

Post by Filthy »

No this is not a post for Priests Robbie!! :D

For me it Dempsey. It looks like M.Long so much...pace, skill, vision, looks like he has got the works and with some upper body strength...special!

I reckon Paddy will develop into a top player as well.

The kids like Stants, Dys, Jobe, the Brothers (Lovetts), and so on are nearing 50 games and are clearly going to sensational players especially if we can get some hard and experienced heads around them in the next 2 years to help bring them on. Slats, Jolley, Nash, CJ, Chook (?) have shown enough too to be happy with the future.

Just some lady luck...please

CJ - Much improved with this year under his belt and started showing what he can really do :)
Dempsey - As stated, speed, skill, vision (just needs to add about 10kg's of muscle)
Licha - Started really show what he is also capable of, but then broke the leg...poor bastard...

If Johns can stay fit and get some nous about him, he's going to be a monster at CHF in years to come. Big and strong, he busted open a pack against Geelong, whirled around and slammed it home, if I recall correctly. Sent shivers up my spine!

see my sig - it's been that for about three years!

apart from those two, I think Paddy will be one of the best rucks our club has seen

EDIT: hmmm seems half my post didn't acually show up! so adding it now

apart from those two, I think Paddy will be one of the best rucks our club has seen, and there are so many other youngsters that I have a soft spot for too - no wonder I have trouble saving money, I keep spending it all on sponsorships! we have some great years ahead of us :)

Monfries for me. I watch him play and think he is going to get killed. I love the kid. When he puts some weight on and remember he didn't have a pre season last year the kid is going to be special.

Stants. love the way he goes about his footy. Runs very, very hard. Still has some work to do on his defensive game.

Also love the run of Dyson, how he splits the lines. Did it a number of times against the bullies, but his kicking let him down which is unusual for him.

Dyson - great disposal (usually!)
Gus - balls of steel that kid, what courage
Lovett - our new Darren Bewick
CJ - kick like a mule on him

gus and CJ for me,

Gus is going to be awsome, such courage.

and if CJ can get it together he is going to be a very hard man for the opposition defenders to stop.
