We are taking it too easy - 3 goals to 2 almost 20 minutes in.
Need to tighten up and not try to be too finicky.

Hobbs having a shocker so far - 4 clangers from 4 disposals.

I feel like we're doing enough to stay in front (just) but not enough to really put them away properly.
Considering how weak they are as opposition, we should be doing better.

Finally got a couple of goals toward the end of that quarter.
Hardly what you'd call convincing.

The was an important win for us mentally.
50 points. Should have been more but of course the Weagles decided to play semi properly against us.

Well, we did spend a lot of petrol tickets last week. I’d say West Coast spent none in their drubbing. They got some experience back in their side. The result is a good one IMO.
AMT needs a spell. Seriously.
Redman is an absolute ripper. Fantastic competitor. Having a great season.

Given how weak the Eagles are at the moment, we really should have won by more.
But oh well a win is a win. I agree AMT needs a spell.

AMT needs to put a lot of time on a running track... Though he will get pushed out when Shiel, Setters, Parish, 2MP and Kelly come back. Even Tsatas may make an appearance before the end of the year.BenDoolan wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 10:27 pm Well, we did spend a lot of petrol tickets last week. We need to re-sign Redman.

Re: R11 Essendon v West Coast Seagulls
Lost opportunity to cash in on booster percentage. We gained 5%, but could have got 8-10 if we weren’t so ragged in our display.
But, it was a solid win nonetheless.
Good to see the growth in maturity in guys like Hobby, Perky, and Marto.
Pat on the back to Adrian Dodoro for finding the likes of Snelly, Menzie, Marto, and Duzza in the pre-season or mid-season drafts.
Can anyone confirm / heard / rack and pinion whether Dyls hammered his ankle again at training or somewhat? Last week it was a re-bleed of a corkie but this week was a botch on his ankle again ?
What is going on???
