It's hard to believe, but there's actually a very solid group of Essendon fans who not only think Nick Bryan isn't AFL ready, but who also do not want to even give him a chance to prove he is ready by giving him a few AFL games. The excuses they find every week to justify why he shouldn't play is just astonishing. Especially when Goldstein has been pantsed the last 2-3 weeks, and Draper has been poor all year (before injury).

I could only watch a half because it was so pathetic.
Can't remember seeing a more inept team performance.

About Reid - Brad Scott said tonight it might be a pectoral problem (not a shoulder). Sadly, I don't think that makes any real difference to his prognosis - pecs are just as hard to recover from as most shoulder issues.
