Sam Draper Knee 6-8 weeks

Bryan just might get a good crack at it if Draper goes the full time off.
HAHAHAHA LOL LOL LOL

Brad Scott: Bryan is too good for VFL.
Also Brad Scott: We'll play 2 Rucks every week - unless Draper is out and the 2nd Ruck has to be Bryan.

Bryan will have arthritis and dementia before he gets a run at it at Essendon.

He’s now back to “1-2 weeks” away, 6 weeks after they initially said 1-2 weeks away lol

If they’re not careful, he’ll be recovering in the same time someone does from an ACL

Saw a list of injured players amongst clubs on Talking Footy tonight. We are one of the least affected clubs at the moment. May it stay that way [-o<

Yes, hopefully. In the grand roundabout of injuries, the swings will affect all teams at some stage. Whether it's a whole season or not, injuries happen. Some injuries are very difficult to manage, eg groins, backs, thighs, feet, knees, brains...all the bits that get a constant hammering in this game.

Of course, managing them is a science,an art, sensibility and a bit of luck. The players need to have the correct approach too! Diet, training loads, rest etc. Didn't Goddard have something to say about that at one stage, directed at one tall high marking, inaccurate forward that once frustrated us and now frustrates others?

Reid: shoulder...details thin atm...maybe pectoral tear/strain?
In bad news for the Bombers, luckless defender Zach Reid suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter and was ruled out of the rest of the game. He had has 12 disposals before his injury.
Langers: subbed off...hip complaint?

Crap week.

Langford, hip - I'd expect him to miss this week, he could barely walk.
Redman, hammy - that's 3 minimum.
Parish, calf "set-back" - another 3-4 weeks.
Reid, pectoral apparently - around 10 weeks, basically season over.

On the plus side - Goldstein should be fine.

Team selection this week will be a nightmare trying to squash players into positions/roles they're not ideally suited to.

Still tipping us!

There are some Clubs you just can't tip when playing against!

Burns your overall tipping,so you aim for a weekly prize.

Not after last week's effort!

Doc Reid must have opened an umbrella indoors while walking under a ladder, tripping over a black cat and breaking a mirror.

I take it that these are the 3 or 4 players who will be available to come back in vs the Weagles...

Though I'd refrain from playing Draper (given his history of serious breakdowns after returning from injury) and Baldwin isn't an automatic inclusion in the firsts either.

Why is it that Parish seems to be getting further and further away from a return each week?

Just a wild theory about Parish and other players with similar injuries, buf perhaps they should train on a Natural Surface ONLY!Only train Indoors and lightly, when Dome Matches are fixtured!
