Cox back in?

Two rucks? Manage Goldie?

Yes, on second thought… perhaps rest Goldie and give Bryan the No.1 ruck duties.

So… “calf awareness” becomes calf strain… ](*,)

OUT: H. Jones (susp), A. Davey (omit), J. Laverde (omit) .... you can't omit Parish as he wasn't in the side.
More likely to drop Tsakis than Davey though.

IN: N. Cox. J. Ridley, N. Bryan

Bryan and Goldie to rotate/rest in the forward pocket.

Hopefully.

Unless he has to enter concussion protocols… from all the slaps to the head he copped

Good stuff.

I though Caddy was a smallish forward - he is 195cm  .

My bad.

Word is that Martin is ill - but should be right for Saturday.

Probably the same lurgy that affected Cox.

In AFL these days being smallish is relative. They're (nearly) all so tall.
I think it was Jake Kelly that I once thought was a small defender, only to find out he's 189cm.
Yeah, smallish in comparison to many, but that's only 6cm shorter than Caddy, or 7 shorter than Jones. Check your ruler - 6cm ain't much.

efc website has Caddy @ 193cm. Maybe he's still growing?
Langers, Stringer, Laverde are 192-193cm per the website.

Congratulations to the swashbuckling Caddy shacker! =D>

Go well young man. Put up your dukes and clunk a few marks sonny. May you slot a few potato gems right through the chopsticks 🥢

All the best to our First Nations players on the night (Junior Froggy and Gresho). Enjoy the spiritual ceremony and have a phenomenal game.

A bit rough on Tsatas. I thought he provided a lot more than a couple of other players last week

I also wouldn't be surprised if Durham was a late out. If so, I would suggest Bryan to replace him ... even if as the sub. We need to get games into him.

As it turns out, Hobbs out (calf), Tsatas in.

So I suspect Hobbs did a calf at training?

Hobbs likely due for a rest  and Tsatas needs the continuity.

The rule of the week seems to be total respect for the umpires and no timewasting.

Thursday's game had more 50m penalties than all of the games a week before.

Muttering under the breath got a 50m penalty this week

The free tonight for not giving the ball directly to the umpire is a first in my memory. But then Nichols is a martinet. Cost Collingwood a goal.

Was on par with the Jason Johnson 50 for him saying "Get up you dog" to his opponent.

Just play the ball and don't say anything.

Ah yes… that ripper. That was Mark Johnson telling Amon Buchanan to “get up you weak dog”.

The look on Johnno’s face was priceless.

Sheedy commented after the game “this isn’t a nun’s convent”.
