Well I'll use my 500th post to start the game thread. Looks like a great game and I think we shall go close and maybe even win it. Excited to see Alwyn Davey play looks like he is going to rattle a few defenders this year. Not sure about the changes if someone wants to tell me but Johns is left out which is a shame. Don't let the last 2 games fool you we pumped adelaide by 10 goals round 8 2005 so we arent that bad at AAMI. So looking forward to this match

Forward line looking the goods.
Adelaide seems to have alot of open space in their forward line.
Winderlich has started well, great tackling by him in the middle

Gives you Adelaide view of life but its better than nothing.

Started well, but still showing signs of the old Essendon. 50 meter penalty and dumb decisions (Pevrill, Welsh etc).

Eliminate those and we are doing well.

We are in the game on the scoreboard, but getting beat around the ground. Too many turnovers and not getting onto our men quick enough on transition.
