Membership Numbers...

Post by JimboC »

On my way to the game this past Sunday, I couldn't help but notice an encouraging number of people lining up to get a membership.

They had a couple of desks outside the dome, and there appeared to be at least a couple of hundred people lining up at each desk.

I see we have passed the 34,000 mark...and with matches against the Blue-baggers and the Saints to come, providing our form holds up how many do you guys think we will end up with before the cut-off date?

The website says it's at 34219. Should get to 36-37000 easily. If we win our next 2 we could push 40000.

They were advantage members lining up to get their free caps Jimbo. Was going to line up to get mine but took one look at the queue and said forget it. I'd rather see some of the game...

Good numbers though!

They used to, so I presume they still do. Half the money is meant to go to EFC.

They should have just kept it the way it was when we had to go to a 3 shop to get the cap. Alot easier.

Very hard for people that live interstate to pick the hats up in Victoria. I was in town last weekend and forgot about it.

numbers are over 35000 now.
At this stage it won't go much higher unless the afl club supporters haven't been added.

In recent times it has been 37,042, in 2004. But the figures I have only go back to '98
