Well he was praising us on 3AW... and the calls came flooding in about how it must be killing him to be saying something good about our boys. Seems like he followed up in his column.

I still think he has no clue about the game but hey I'm happy to accept praise for our lads after their performance so far this season.

The other funny one is Patrick Smith on SEN. Talk about eating humble pie. He doesn't have much to say after sinking the boots into us for the past year or so. I think he's using the old adage of "If you got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Twisted old fuddy duddy...

What the...!!!

This is evil - writing flattering comments on the Bombers, lulling us into believeing he's not to bad, giving us all a sense that there is goodness in the world.

Nah

F*** him - one positive article is not enough to make up for years of nasty, bitchy, back biting.

Now Sheeds can come out and say something nice about him, they can hug and walk off into the sunset hand in hand...

Just wait until we drop a couple of games....

I find it interesting that he never has a thing to say about his beloved Blues. He seems to concentrate on other clubs (ours mostly) and more recently West Coast. Well how about his boys? 3 spoons in 5 years, Pagan's inability to work with his assistants and the board, Fev's misdemeanors, inept performances....the list is endless.

The problem about writing about Carlton and listing all thier problems is there is no way you could fit it into a newspaper column.

You'd have to write a novel, and who'd wanna buy that?

For the record Mal had it 12 times plus 2 tackles(1 clanger) and Tarrant 18 but had a lot up on the wing (2 clangers).
Yes. When their was a contested situation between Michael and Tarrant it was quite easy for big Mal to spoil.
