Great game indeed... Demons showed some serious heart tonight even with the Saints injuries.

Umpires were a f****** embarrassment as usual!!!

Just wonder how many times Grant Thomas is going to be out coached in finals before he is looking for a new job??

Oh it was just awesome to see the saints get beaten from behind. They thought they had Melbourne at half-time. But the Dees, to their credit, fought all night, and eventually broke through. Great game to start of the finals series with

I went. Good tough game after the Q1.

I was hoping the Sainters would lose. And they did. Happy days.

Unfortunately for Melbourne, I feel they are just delaying the inevitable.

Sucked in Sainters.

You're a joke, you've always been a joke, you'll always be a joke. If it wasn't for Harvey, you'd have been straight up pantsed. He could easily play another season, but why would you want to keep playing for that rabble.

The Dees won't go any further, but good on 'em. Now fingers crossed Collingwood get absolutely pumped...

So pleased to see them crumble, very sorry for Harvey, the rest esp. Milne can eat shit. As for Coach lard arse, would love to see some Carlscumesq. action there.

When I first turned it on last night and saw the score at something like 41 to 14, I didn't really expect Melbourne to come back and win, even though at that point it was only early in the second quarter. I'm glad they did win though, cause it means another year without a St Kilda premiership. :P

Out come the knives, hey? If we had the injuries during the course of a game that they did last night and lost a game, i'm not sure a single person would NOT use injuries as an excuse.

They worsened their situation by having players who were already unfit prior to the game (such as Hamill), but to have basically only 17 fit players for a half (Clarke X 2, Kosi, Harvey, Gehrig all were grossly unfit in the 2nd half) in a final, i think Melbourne would've been absolutely belted from pillar to post had they not won.

Had St. Kilda held on last night, it would've been a fan-f******-tastic effort.

still can't decide what is Funnier...

A: Cornflakes thinking that a 30% Fit Hamill would actually HELP...

B:Dropping 3 Ruckmen thinking it was going to rain all night.....

C: Stephen Milne being voted into Their leadership group

I'l lock in "C"
