Half Time
Ess 6.6.42
Col 5.12.42
Umpiring gets worse EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Today they have lowered the bar even further.
Collingwood totally outplayed us that quarter. Dons have lost their early cohesion and Collingwood are winning all the contested footy.
What the hell is Lucas doing playing loose in defence?
AND WHAT THE HELL IS BRADLEY DOING UP FORWARD??????
Put your brain back in Sheeds. Get back into this Bombers.
Davey's got 3 goals. If we win, he's a certainty for the medal.

I've stood by Bradley through thick and thin but he's really wearing out his welcome today. He just seems scared to make a decision and by the time he does it's too late. His disposal has been abominable.

I've been cutting Kepler some slack, but they guys a god damn liability should not get another game this year and should get the chop at the end of the year, unless we can trick someone into trading for him.
Even by some fluke he ends up with the ball he has f*** all idea of what to do with the bloody thing.
And how exactly to we get into a situation where Laycock goes off for a breather and none of the other possible ruck options are aware of it?? How do we end up with a situation where Jobe Watson is contesting the ruck contest??!!
What are you doing Sheeds???
Mark Bolton and Kepler sure were important ins weren't they, both done f*** all apart one giving away a stupid free by using his arms in a marking contest when all he needed to do was use his body, robbed us of a goal and the other one who the only the thing he has done as been to kick out on the full a pretty easy shot at goal!!

Ryder looked good in the ruck late in that quarter. We've been getting belted most of the day out of the middle but started to hold our own once he went into the ruck.
PS: Note to umpires...try bouncing the ball straight up rather than towards collingwood's ruckman every f****** time![Evil or Very Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

Farewell Bradley & Bolton...this is your swansong.
We look tired...that is why we are moving the ball slowly...we can't run to make space.
Must rotate Laycock with Ryder. Send Bradley to the moon.
Also, Dyson is soft...and doesn't work hard enough.
Thank god for our defence...or we'd be 5 goals down.
Getting flogged out of the middle.
McVeigh has been inspirational!
Go DAVEY...what a little machine.

That's to be expected with only a 3 day break. Even playing Friday night would have been a struggle come today.bomberflyer wrote:We look tired...that is why we are moving the ball slowly...we can't run to make space.
I think the "margin" at half time tells the story. But considering the first 10 minutes or so of the match, we should be murdering them. What's happened??? Get someone up forward as a target - seems like when we get it in, we stuff around with it too much and the Filth rebound (the umpires aren't helping us).
I'm hoping this a ploy by us, keep it tight in the first half, get them running alot, play it slower ourselves. Watch them run out of gas and run over the top of them in the 2nd half.
Also they've got some key players in their midfield who were doubtful coming into the match (Thomas Burns) who might start feeling the pinch.
