Anyone think anything of Dale Thomas' elbow on Paddy after his high fly and mark? The commentators said it was accidental - I thought it was pretty reckless at least.

yeah i thought it was definatly a change in direction from where it would have gone if he wasn't trying to hit him

If my memory serves Slatts ironed out Thomas shortly thereafter so it's all good
There was nothing accidental about the backhander to Paddy's head. The footage shows him missing on the first attempt and swinging the arm out violently to make sure of the second one.

Spot on. He took a look, then turned his head before flinging out his forearm. Deliberate and reckless.

Watching the game with someone who was going for Collingwood (due to tips... not a supporter and not a Dons supporter either) he made the comment "That was deliberate if ever I've seen it". Thomas clearly turned his body toward Ryder with a raised elbow. He was facing the other direction at the time and then took out Ryder on his way down.
