Richmond vs Geelong

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

I think it was Carlton.....in a deluge of rain and in a mudheap. Can't remember what year though (1987 rings a bell)....
Cant remember that BD, but I wasnt at games then.

Rob, your thinking of 1995 against the lions at Whitten Oval. Round 1, we kept them scoreless in the first half and at 3/4 they had only kicked one goal straight.

Bulldogs kept Carlton to one goal with 30 seconds left in the match at Western Oval in a real down pour of the match.

BD, who was the carlton player who kicked that goal? (toughie, but you should get it)
He kicks on the left
He kicks on the riiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttt
That boy Hurley
Makes Riewoldt look shite!

I'm obviously all muddled up!

Hmm, would it have been Craig Bradley?

Nope.

Not a famous player, played I think 50 or so games.

Not a star by any means.

I see our next game at the MCG is against Richmond.

Cant wait to play them into form , just like Carlton , Collingwood and Hawthorn.

It was Fitzroy in '95,

I got a photo of the scoreboard floating around in my Bomber magazine collection (Number 2, James Hird on the front)
