He's young, he's a flanker, a bit of a drop in form happens to them all. Will still be a beauty.

Wasted on the HFF. Apparently doesnt have the engine to play in the middle.

Considering he has been there three years, then what has Quinn done about it?

Has a brilliant football brain and great skill. Lets not waste it, plase. We already have enough hacks playing.

Needs to be in the pocket or in the middle. He's good up forward, personally I'd leave him there.

He went missing a fair bit today though. He's not the only one. Our forward line was abducted by aliens for a good 45 minutes or so.

I just can't work it out I'm afraid. Spent a shit load of time on the bench - either not 100% fit or just can't get into the game. I love the kid, he will be a ripper, but something's amiss.

He's also getting a lot more attention now. Teams seem to be singling him out to see if they can get under his skin. That may him take a season or so to work through.

He is getting a lot more "respect" from his opponents and its something that he'll cope with.

I reckon its now time to bite the bullet and have him in the midde, resting in the pocket.

If you remember Scotty did clash with him high in a pretty heavy knock in the first quarter in a marking contest.

Not to mention our backline going missing at critical times.

He's carrying an injury, so that doesn't help.

Groin. Guess he wasn't the only one. Licha should have been given another week. He didn't want to go near the ground ball, where he needed to bend down to grab it. Probably worried the hammy would go again.

Simply out of form.....if he has an injury, he shouldnt be playing. I think he would benefit from a stint in with Bendigo to lift his confidence.

Noticed a couple of weeks ago he was getting a lot of bench time that wouldnt help his confidence. Should have had more game time then, lets hope he finds form important part of the side. him and winderlich need to have a big impact for us to be winning and playing well.

It would be good to see him in a few different positions so that it will be harder for the opposition to stop his influence.

If they know he will be in the forward pocket all day it's easy enough to put a defender on him who will most likely be taller and stronger. If he had a stint in the middle he would have an opponent that had to worry about getting kicks as well as looking after him.

Monfries is copping a lot of attention, physically from the opposition ATM. He'll be right.
