Bulldogs- Are they a show?

Post by boncer34 »

Rohan Smith- 300
Scott West- 300
Combined with the bulldogs work ethic and hard-running game which may almost match the Eagles. Do the Bulldogs stand a chance? Personally I think they could cause the upset.

They beat West Coast in round 13 at Subiaco.

They are a big big show.

I think so. The WEagles would be stuffed after their hard slog against Sydney.

I think the bulldogs are a chance of upsetting the eagles

What are the odds at the moment? I think they are definitely a big chance.

As at right now on http://www.tab.com.au :

West Coast $1.30
Bulldogs $3.20

Looks like good value Dan.

I reckon they can pull it off. Th eagles will be pretty stuffed after the sydney match and the bulldogs running game will suit bigger grounds. Plus west coast will be under pressure not to go out in straight sets after finishing on top of the ladder. Bulldogs dont have those sort of expectations so they have nothing to lose.

I think they would be the only team that would be able to pull out an upset like that!
They are a very good chance

Not with the way their draw has panned out for them. Ahh well, those are the benefits being an interstate team in the top 4.

Although i wouldn't like to be a West Coast fan right now playing a team with two legends of their club playing their 300th game, and playing a team who has beaten them in Perth this season.

I have a feeling they will win on Saturday night, but get knocked out the following week when they travel to Adelaide.

honestly can't say who will win, i think the doggies are fighting like mad to win each game and west coast i think are just expecting to win.... west coast is the better team of course but man heart and determination gets you a long way, expect an awesome game dont miss it!

True Footscray beat WC in the regular season over there but the were basically f***** the month afterwards. It takes a lot out of you to win over there, I doubt they could back it up travelling again.

True, but would be a really great end to the season for them, and set them up for a tilt next yr ( from the top 4 !!!)

The bulldogs will go in with their tails up after flogging collingwood. west coast could be pretty stuffed themselves after the game with sydney so a bulldogs win isnt out of the question.

Doggies are a big chance for the flag boys!!!

I'd love to see a game style like the doggies win the flag, also hope the swans get crushed in the prelim. Shocking style of footy being played ova there.

Was having a chat with my brother and his mate while we were watching the WCE v Swans game... they thought that the Dogs were the only Melbourne hope for the flag... or to at least go close. Personally I thought Collingwood were going to roll them but I was clearly way off the mark.

Can't see Melbourne going past this weekend... and the Dogs would have to put on a damn good show to go past the WCE at home, but they've done it before. Don't think it'll happen though.

I think we saw the GF on Saturday night... Swans v WCE (replay). This time WCE will smash them.
