Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

5. Pev- ran all day, used the ball pretty well
4. McVeigh- got us back into this match at the start of the 3rd
3. Hille- got the clearances for us and was a massive part in that fightback
2. Lucas- played well, kicked 4, had the better of O'brian for most of the day
1. Rama- good to see him getting back to the form before his knee re-co

I was going to give the 3 to Spike, but he should've been there last week - MAYBE would've made a difference.

3. Lucas - kicks goals consistently, that's what he's there for. Onya Scotty, keep doing it. Goals and accuracy usually = wins.
2. McVeigh
1. Hille

Apologies to Rama, Paddy (thought he was good today) and Lovett (kicked 2 good goals to assist in the "fightback").

I don't do these things but anyone who doesn't give Pev a vote has NFI. And as some of the long termers here know, I'm his biggest knocker.

3 - Peverill
2 - McVeigh
1 - Lucas

No apologies necessary. Although i'd like an apology from Lovett-Murray, Monfries and perhaps a few others.

Lovett-Murray did some nice things until he was moved on to Cloke.

Agreed, but kicking lets him down. Another bloke with sub-par kicking ability is not the answer.

5. Pev (having a lovely season)
4. McVeigh (likeswise)
3. Lucas (why did he spend so much time on the bench during the second quarter?
2. Watson (instigated our comeback. We're mates now ;-)
1. No other player stood out for me.

More JUNK from Stanton today. Refuses to chase or apply any pressure. Disposal substandard again and looking for cheap possessions. A must trade in my opinion.

Get your hand off it...one bad season and your writing him off.

Im sick of some of the crap people come out with, without any foresight.

Good/great player but doubt he would make up a 33 point deficit.

Of course, all hypothetical, hence the "MAYBE". I probably should've said some difference instead of a difference. :)
He's consistently been in our best this year. I just feel it was a costly out. Be it through the heart he gives us at times or the contribution to goals and the goals he kicks himself. May have been a 20 point loss, instead of a 33.

Can I make a vote that we use the votes thread for just that...

If you want to start talking about other aspects of the game or even last weeks game which seems to be the case then start a new thread...
