Sheeds and the ACB?

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Sheeds and the ACB?

Post by Doctor Fish »

Dean Jones wants Sheeds to coach the Aussie cricket team next year. The great man (Sheeds. Not Deano!), will be on the Run Home on SEN this arvo to field questions. Might make for some compulsive listening...

I think with what Deano was thinking as a managerial type role, where if there is a problem, Sheedy can headhunt expert coaches to handle the problems - plus also act as team motivator.

Complete nonsense IMHO. There are plenty of better cricket coaches than Sheeds going around.

Methinks Deano and his management are trying to re-establish his credentials as a cricket commentator after his unforgivable gaff about that South African Muslim cricketer.

Guess what?

It isnt working.

Can you imagine Sheedy mixing it with the cricket establishment....if he struggles to make a connection with the likes of Vlad and Ando, god knows how his Msrtians, Seagulls, Hot August Nights, will go down with the members at Lords.

If Sheeds coaches the Aussie Cricket Team - Ponting will come in at 11, Langer will get the new ball, Hussey will be left out every 2nd test :D
