I have us finishing 8th with only 11 wins, provided we beat both Richmond and Carlton by 3 goals each.

Baring in mind teams like Stk, Bris, and WB have tough runs home.

One thing is for sure ADELAIDE ARE GAAAAWWWWWN!

Taking into account recent momentus events and last weeks form, I now have us winning every game for the rest of the season and finishing 4th. How would this be - we play Geelong in week 1 and win and are straight into the PF to face who knows at the G then win that and straight into the GF then win that and then we dont re-contract the coach who got us there !!!

Just did it again and got the same result as you....IT SEEMS THE ONLY WAY WE MAKE FINALS THIS YEAR IS IF WE BEAT FREO, CARL, AND RICH!!!

If we just beat Carl and Rich, St kilda nudge us out with the draw they had with the doggies... (Match fixing.. )

Just to cheer us all up I've concocted the following results to enable us to finish in the 8 with Collingwood finishing 9th. We'd then play the Kangaroos in the first final - an eminently winnable proposition. I know for this to fall our way is a total long shot but we are still mathematically in the race.

The chances of us beating them over there just before the finals are about 1000-1. The only thing that may play in our favour is that this will Sheedy's last game coaching Essendon. You would think that this would lift the players to some extent however judging by the last fortnight this seems to be counting for nought.

If we did beat West Coast over there it would have to be one of the biggest upsets for a long time. Obviously won't happen though!
