Devastatingly Sad end.

However Sheeds has only got himself to blame for coming out of this mess looking like a sulking prat.

He should have swallowed the pill and decided to make these last few weeks a celebration of a remarkable career. Instead he has sat back and smirked whilst allowing all the media conjecture to build.

If was a man, he would hold a press conference tomorrow and say to the world,

"ÿou know, I am the luckiest man alive - in a game that murders senior coaches, this great, great club gave me a lifetime of work from which I have built a wonderful career. Thanks Essendon, Thanks Bomber fans - now lets go out and give it one last big effort!!"

Instead he has allowed the whole world to fall for the trap of believeing he is hurt, and has been unfairly treated - bull shit. Most of us dont have jobs that pay $750,000 a year from an employer who has been prepared to pay that sort of money through thick and thin. Sheeds, you have a win/loss record amongst the worse in the league over the last 3 years. Be humble buddy or at least honest with yourself

Disgusting tanking. Carlton should be stripped of the priority pick for their efforts.

How bloody obvious is it that they don't wanna win? When one of their guys kicks a goal, it's almost like his teammates go up and say to him "hey, watch your step! You'll make us win!"
