Anyone have any updates on the lad? Last I heard they were muttering something about a bruised spinal cord or something. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything more from a reliable source, I'm concerned about the poor kid.

Looked nasty at the time. Had tingling in his hands. Is at the Alfred at the moment. I haven't heard anything else but I'm very concerned for the boy.

I'm absolutely gutted for the guy. Love the way he plays. I make no secret he is my favourite kid on the list. It looked a hard knee into his back and then boot studs came crunching down on top of his head when they landed. I haven't seen a replay of it, and reading the reports in here, I'm concerned for the poor bloke. Was playing extremely well again....

Nash cleared of serious injury

Essendon youngster Jay Nash took part in this morning’s recovery session at Windy Hill having been released from hospital late last night and cleared of serious injury. Nash was knocked unconscious on the three-quarter time siren of yesterday’s clash with Richmond and taken to hospital for precautionary scans on his head and neck.
The news doesn’t appear good for veteran Scott Camporeale who is expecting confirmation today that he will need a full reconstruction to repair a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. The news will come as a bitter blow for Camporeale who had been in excellent form over the past two weeks.
Nash fell awkwardly following a marking contest, knocking himself out and then reporting a tingling sensation in his arms and hands. He was taken by ambulance to hospital where scans revealed no structural damage. Once the tingling subsided he was sent home. He is not expected to play this weekend.
The season also appears over for Courtensay Dempsey who suffered yet another hamstring strain. The positive news for the Bombers is that Dustin Fletcher appears certain to play against West Coast having overcome groin soreness.

We looked a damn sight worse after he went off. We lost some serious run through the middle and an important link in the chain between the rebound from the backline and the delivery to the forwards. Part of the reason why we got trounced in the first 10 minutes of the last quarter, I'd suggest. That and we only had player on the bench.
