I'm feeling perversely benign after tonight, so i thought i'd start a thread with some positive vibes.

Dempsey looked pretty good.

Thought he was pretty good but disposal let him down a few times (not that he was on his own in that dept).

yeah he delievered a few helicopters but you have to give him credit for trying hard tonight considering he has been injured for the majority of the season. His pace with Lovett was exciting in the first half especially,

Loved his game and his new two year deal will be good for us.

Unfortunate injury tonight though.

Dempsey was great, worked very hard both offensively and defensively. Unlike Lovett, who was better than he has been still only ran one way and was very frustrating on several occasions.

Dempsey was excellent at times, but at other times (like his partner in crime... Lovett) he did some things that just made me cringe. I know he did his hamstring when he kicked that point running into open goal 20m out.

Some of his run was excellent, and it was good to see him back himself for pace to beat an opponent. Work on that kicking and he'll be a very handy player.

Hw's grown taller this year hasn't he. He seems much taller than last year.
If that's the case, then his hammies have been struggling to keep up with his growth I think.

Yes, he did look excellent tonight, but he also looked like someone down on match day experience.

He'll be an exciting '08 recruit I expect. In the off season, I'd like him to add just 3 kgs...no more.

really liked the look of him - seemed to have an awareness of what was around him - and knows how to dance around a tackler!

bad luck with the miss early in the last and concurrent injury - but definitely adds some magic.

Yep, looks good. Hope to see more of him. Too bad about the injury. The Bomber boys just have no luck. :(

He could be good if he was able to stay out on the park for more than two games before he cops an injury. Don't know how some of these guys can keep doing hammys time after time. Lets hope his body can come good like Jobes has.

It's F****** chronic!

If only he could keep his body intact he may blossom into a very good player one day.

Dempsey certainly looked good. Pace and knows how to use it (shades of Michael Long streaming down the field and taking a bounce).

But... kicking wasn't great and we need someone to look at why he keeps doing hammys!!

I thought he was exceptional last night. He found a way out of stoppage on numerous times with his pace and side stepping. Very much like Michael Long. Disposal was pretty bad..but can be worked one. Will be a superstar if he gets his body right.

I thought Llyod, Lovett, Lovett-Murray played very well as well

Looked pretty good at times last night. Hopefully he can fix the hammy problem before next season. His goal was great and his run was good. If we can keep them all on the park we could have a pretty quick side next year with Dempsey, Lovett, Davey, Winderlich and hopefully Jetta.

Everything that had to be said about Dempsey, has already been said. Can't wait for him to become a regular! Got to say, I loved that goal! I was right behind the goals when he kicked that!

Oh yeah his goal was great.

I was worried for a sec that he'd have a brain explosion and try to kick it over his head. But showed a real level head to run around and nail it.
