3 Hird
2 Lucas
1 Lovett. I could be really, really wrong on this, as I had to put up with substandard radio coverage.

EDIT: I'll give some stiffness to Lovett as well. Now that actually was his best game of the year.

3. Lucas
2. Hird (that clearance to start the last quarter was vintage)
1. Lovett

Monfries would have got votes in any other game. He's been brilliant this month. Stanton was also great and I thought Welsh was pretty good, too.

Let it not be said it f****** KILLED me to say Lucas 3, Hird 2 but you couldn't ignore Scotty's final. Frankly I wanted to give both of them three and no one vote.

3. Scott Lucas - simply outstanding
2. James Hird - retires playing the game as he always played it - heroic
1. Jason Winderlich - 3 goals just adds a bow to his creativity

To James Hird and Kevin Sheedy, I salute you Image

Thanks for the lifetime of glorious memories. Two magnificent men and true Essendon legends. Your passion for this club and the way you magnificently represented it will never be forgotten.

Although not in the votes...a special mention for Kepler...he played a good game and can hold down a wing or possie on the forward line.

3 - Luucaaass, never seen such a dominant quarter from a forward
2 - Winders, the reason we didn't get annihilated in the first 3 quarters
1 - Hird was pretty good too.

Lovett, Monfries and Bradley played well also

Stanton and Mcphee and Bolton had f***** shockin' games.
