THERE is a gap between our senior stars and our developing players with not enough players in that 23-28 age bracket but I believe this playing group has plenty of potential.
Last season they showed glimpses of what they could do and I think there is more skill and potential than some people realise.
It will be exciting to see what this group can do. I think the 2006 draft, in particular, was fantastic for this club and, injury permitting, I think we will see some really good young players come through in 2008.
We haven't seen the best of guys like Dempsey, Gumbleton, Ryder, Jetta, Hislop and Neagle to name a few. We also know players like Jason Laycock, Angus Monfries, Jason Winderlich, Brent Stanton and Henry Slattery have plenty of improvement.
