All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
With the wind down there and the open fields, I predict a 1-0 victory for the Reds.
Not the most comofrtable place to watch a game, but good luck to the club to spreading the game to the South East that now lacks a decent football presence after VFL Park and the Saints have ditched to go further down the coast.

I'll try my best. It's almost closer to my home in the country than it is to the city (where I'll be). Very good ovals though. Used to play for the cricket club that moved out there (left when they moved :p)grassy1 wrote:Oh,go on Gossy.Take the TRAIN TRIP down and watch some Footy in the Community.
Makes a change from All season round CONCRETE STANDS.
Good on you Gossy.I'm heading down to MANDURAH(South of Perth) the morning after the LEAGUE play on Friday Night(29/02),just to see the COLTS and RESSIES play.
Mind you,Swood might pull me up and say I'm CHEATING.It only takes 50 minutes to get down on the new line now.Instead of 3 Buses on the old system.
And the fact,I have to be there anyway.I'll probably end up TIMEKEEPING all 3 games that weekend.

Yeah we came close to playing here last year, but carlton had to win that preseason game. That push in the back rule really annoyed me then.Megan wrote:Sounds awesome, those who can better show up and tell those of us who can't all about it!
Leigh, I'm still waiting for the boys to have a pre season hit out on Aurora Stadium
At least they came down to tassie this preseason. Hopefully will play a practice game at aurora stadium next year.
Or maybe if we lose NAB Cup and play country could play hawks at aurora.
