Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Saturdays Performance

Very happy with the game yesterday...absolutuely estatic about some of the young players.

Thought that JJ, Pev, Heath Hocking, Slats and Jay nasj were all outstanding and got a lot of hardball .. Can only imagine when McVeigh is added in. Sorry should add Monfries in there as well.

Thought our receivers in Dyson, Bacha were both very good ... although Bacha has a tendency to zone off and stay a step behind the play .. but on the other hand he has excellent disposal and great decision making.

Thought Dempsey Paddy, Atkins and Mal were fantastic down back. At Natrad up forward was unlucky not to finish with 4 goals.

Myers, and the guy from the Rookie list who played up forward both looked very good and to have excellent skills.

A lot of our younger players seem to have very penetrating kicks and good evasive skills which we have lacked in recent years.

Still not sure about Jetta .. although he looked ok.

A) Essendon play

B) Essendon win and win with relative comfort

Yeah Donnie. Vossy summed that up saying they were tackling to hurt their opponent... Was the highlight for me. Watched the replay again this morning. We laid some brutal tackles eh...

Young Rhys Magin looks to have some talent too...
