Laycock = Softcock

Post by robbie67 »

I have dead set run out of excuses for the bloke. He has the ability, but he doesnt have that intangible desire to be a great player. Maybe should f*** him off while we still may get something for him?

Took the thread right out of my keyboard mate

I have seen enough of this guy and he needs to go before he soils the great jumper any further

Hille has made massive steps forward this year and it is just making Lazycock look worse and worse

Robbie, couldn't agree more.

Our big cock is in urgent need of some Viagra, so he can harden up, get some penetration and be what we need from him.

At best he's just a big tease, because he is a good player, but just doesn't do enough or want to do enough.

Shape up or ship out. He's been around long enough and we've given more than what we've got from this player.

He can be so good, but more often he is just so bad. The way he is going we are going to need Ryder to become a ruckman once we get some key backs, and have a Ryder/Hille duo lead us to a flag, because Laycocks inconsistency doesn't look like he will get us there.

Isn't it funny though how people were giving Hille the mother of all baggings last year, despite the fact that his general efforts were still pretty good and it was obvious that a large part of his problem was Sheedy. He's been excellent all year.

Yet (perhaps up until now) we've have a bag of excuses for Lazycock so bloody big that it'd put Santa to shame. f*** me, i didn't see King after half time (injured?), which means the Aints were down to Blake and sometimes Kossy, yet Laycock still did sweet f*** all and was soundly beaten. From now on, i will refer to him as 'the Gawker' in honour of his famous gawking efforts at least half a dozen times a match where he stands next to a f****** marking contest waiting for someone half a foot shorter than him to go for it.

Lazycock too often. Harden the f*** up son, and put some damn effort and grunt into your work. Your natural laconic nature looks absolutely shithouse. Get some white line fever into your system FFS.

Pisser Jimmy... note that the one good thing he did all game was rove a goal!

Three saints up vs Lloyd and there's Laycock gawking from the goal square. Still nearly got caught with it.

True. :P But that's what we are trying to build a team for. Laycocks performances question whether he can be part of a team aiming to do that.

He was appalling tonight. Run to the wrong spots, couldnt take a farken grab, even against guys half his size.
He got a serious serve from the fans on the boundary line.

Meh, meh, meh....

The club has oportunities to take on new ruckmen but hasn't. Luenburg will come and haunt us in two to three years. Hille around the ground is ok. Laycock is played because we have no one else.

Put up with it.

Play Paddy in the ruck to the detriment of our back 50 and drive from the HBF.

I smoked my pipe on Hille from Dr. and others, and he continues to do well around the field. But make our two blokes at least accountable at the center bounces and we will be half way competative.

Hille has stepped up with general play touches (18 from a ruckman is awesome) but we need more from our back up (6 from Laycock....is poo).

Funnier still when you consider the fact that Hille will probably be first ruck for Victoria this year.

I've always been dissapointed by his spectating but last night was the last straw. Even when he went to a contest in the third quarter with the sit and a kick to his advantage heouldn't out mark two guys half his size.

My thoughts exactly. Gumbleton will be good if he can say fit long enough, but how often does a gun ruckman that good come around (let's forget that there's been 2 in 2 years, because it's probably been those 2 in the last 7 or 8) and we don't really need a tall forward with Lloyd and Lucas still going.

Put lazycock out to pasture.
Bring in Bellchambers and see if he's up to it.

By the looks of the pre-season photos where the team was training topless, it appears he's never left the pasture  !

He didn't even want the ball then and seemed surprised it fell into his lap!
