Looks like Alwyn's done either an AC or a broken collarbone. Just gets better and better. #-o

meh.... would have been dropped anyway. Reimers and Skipworth would have done a better job today.

Pathetic effort today, I hope we get smashed next week. Losing to 3 of the bottom 4 teams in the run home: Richmond, Fremantle, West Coast.
No team who wins 10 games in a season deserves to make it. Especially Essendon.
Still, we had a good year, won some really good games. Lost about 6-7 we shouldn'tve.
With Gumbleton possibly playing a game next year, i'm excited enough to think about finals next year.

hmmm 54 point loss to the side that got done by Melb last week..... why is it that we always have to play crap teams away from home. If this was in Melb we would have smashed them (well im guessing we would have) in saying that though the Shockers have a lot of decent young guys coming through and will be big improvers next season. Finals are not lost completely... Haw at the MCG... a Blockbuster on Sat arvo... just the kind of game that the EFC of 2009 lifts itself for... and they better.

Possies for those interested:

Atkinson-12
TB- 6
Davey-14 and injured
Dyson-26 our best??
Fletcher-12- playing injured surely
Hooker-17 tried hard
Hurley-10 and 3 goals
Jetta-12 nothing possessions
Lovett-22
Natrat-22 and 2 goals tried hard
McPhee-18
McVeigh-18 ordinary again
Monfries-12 tagged out of it
Neagle-6
Pears-12 struggled?
Prismall-25- solid game
Quinn-17 getting better
Slattery-15
Stanton-22 did ok
Watson-6..... yep you read right... 6. Injured his ankle in the 2nd quarter as well
Welsh-18
Licha-19
