I thought Shane Harvey was going to be a gun.

I also thought Jay Neagle would be a very good player for us. I liked him as I backed him for first goal a few times and won.

I was sort of pissed off we drafted Hurley and didn't draft Yarran. That was probably my worst one.

I said that we shouldn't draft Cyril Rioli as we had an abundance of quality in that area

I was sure that Nash was going to be the next Watson and that Cupes would be another Ablett. I once said I enjoyed going to Victoria Park until I got my head kicked in after Tuddy flattened some Filth moron right in front of the Collinwood members and I cheered.

I thought that Atkinson was the best thing since sliced bread and that Johns was the new messiah. Tend to be from the glass half full school but can still make some shocking calls. All in the spirit of things I guess.

Being from WA - I kept backing Bradley in - then I saw him play on ANZAC day and realised he was a spud of the highest order..

No you're quite right, I got Lalich confuzzled with that other star of the time, McAlister. Who I didn't have a massive amount of faith in.

remember telling my brother in law once that the ONLY reason Gary Ablett jnr gets a game is because of his name and he was overrated ..

On the bomber front I tend to be very reserved in my judgement..

I know someone that played TAC cup against Ablett and he said the only reason he got drafted was because of his name. He is a massive Geelong supporter as well.

Probably wasn't that bad a call at the time as he was a lazy forward pocket player at first. You would have never known he was going to turn into an absolute gun.
