Crameri. It was deeeeeeeelicious. What about the mark under the gun when the filth were charging at us?bomberdonnie wrote:Was about to write the exact same sentencerobbie67 wrote:Right now, he is All Australian on a half back flank.

Re: The Pig
That was simply outstanding. I thought Swan had nudged him under the ball and he would have been off and running. But Hibberd seemed to extend himself even higher and took the grab. Just an outstanding bit of play.Jazz_84 wrote:and that mark when he had the confidence to come off Swan and take the mark and run out of the defensive 50
Pig is a Bomber Thompson re-incarnate.

Himself and the rest of the defence kept us in the game in the first half when Collingwood were dominant.

Re: The Pig
very quickly becoming one of my fave players to watch! His courage and work rate today was simply brilliant! Would have been a very worth winner of the Anzac medal too.

My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.
Re: The Pig
I gave him 3 votes today. He had an excellent consistent 4 quarters and along with Dempsey and Baguley the 3 smalls down there were terrific. Carlisle of course beat Cloke and Hooker wasn't too bad either.
Re: The Pig
I concur with the sentiments expressed in this thread.
Brilliant performance today on the big stage.

Re: The Pig
One of my favourite players at the moment. Just doesnt stuff up. He has some real go in him. With the black locks and the number 1 on back I am getting flashbacks of Merv Neagle dashing around watching him.

Re: The Pig
Hibby is fast becoming one of our most important players. You feel confident when he has the ball that he won't stuff up.
He has aggression but doesn't get sucked in (like McVeigh).
All of the defence were great yesterday. Bags and Hooker did their jobs ok. Dempsey gave us lots of drive. And Big Jake was fantastic again (hope he's ok?). Even Hardingham, when he spent some time down there, tried his very best not to stuff up.
