I wish NLM had gone to Richmond, and we kept Houli. As Salim Dusty would have said "NLM is just a sub with no peer". Permission to laugh at own joke?

He wouldn't get into our current side even if several players were injured.

As for Montagna being an ambassador for the round he is about as Italian as Pizza Hut.

Agree with most of the above. Would he even get a game at essendon now? Doubt it. Who would he replace? Would have been nice to get something in return though. Oh well. Worked out best for him.

Funny in hindsight looking at that draft. Gumby, jetta, hislop, houli, Reimers was meant to be a fantastic group at the time. Jetta has been good over the last two seasons and hopefully still has some improvement left. Hislop went horribly wrong, houli never lived up to early expectations, Reimers has shown flashes but has failed to cement a spot in the ones and Gumby must have broken a mirror when he walked into windy hill.

Have a look at the 2nd game against Richmond last year.

See the great, brave, defensive effort Bachar put up when tackled on the boundary line by Stewie Crameri.

The guy is full of his own self-importance and not nearly as good a footballer that he or the Ninthdom Dillusionals think.

He was pissed at Knights - but took it out on EFC - good riddance!

Still makes the same fuckups as McPhee does under pressure.

Better off without either of them.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Robert Shaw just went whack, whack to Houli over the scapegoat comment and ended his rant with, "the politest way I can put this is that Essendon people would be very pleased with Michael Hibberd on the half bank flank" =D>

Haha....good ol' Robert Shaw. He's a great Essendon ambassador. And that is a fair assessment of things!

Although, I'm pleased we have Hibberd because he ensures Slattery doesn't get a game
