Nothing wrong with NLM's game tonight, he did what he could and we probably needed him to play the entire game. We were bashed up by bigger, stronger and better players.

We would of lost by a three digit margin is he played the whole game.

Just too good last night. Their senior players smashed us. Best game of the year from them according to my Geelong supporting mate I went with. When Hawkins is kicking straight, you know you are in trouble.

We still lack the experience, size and class that comes with seasoned players. Having said that, we are missing some very good players. Really want to see Winderlich back in the team. We need his class and pace through the midfield. Losing Zaka has really hurt us, and not having a tagger last night meant that their midfield cut loose.

As mentioned in the other thread, Hille has been a great servant, but once Paddy is back, he and Tbell will be the main ruck/forward combo.

Would really love to see Pears get back into good form. He is a player that may have the body strength to play on a guy like Hawkins. May not have the height, but Scarlett proves that you don't always need it to beat the forward.

Simply cut us to shreads. Unfair to single out one player, but in my book, Hooker will never make it as a key defender. Would prefer Pears any day of the week and I hope he comes in against the Dawks.
