Foot passes were frequently to the opposition's advantage. We were still waiting for the ball too often.

Could've, should've, didn't.

My young son called it Q2. "They're not switched on today. We'll lose"

How about the fact our skinniest player spent the day trying to break tackles instead of taking the first option? Yes it was very "lucky" for Collingwood we did that.

Well, he was one of very few that had enough "moves" to actually find some space (though I do know what you were intimating)

And this insightful observation relates to the two posts quoted in what way?

Still - I'll bite.
Dempsey was one of the few players that put his head over the ball today and had a crack. He also gave us some run and carry and created space.
If the rest of our mediums and smalls came to play like Dempsey, Baguley and Heppell did yesterday - the result would have been different.

Here's a tip - try watching the game before you buy into the post match conversation.

Very ineffective. I wouldnt use the term soft. Rather dumb.

What was Hird's quarter time messages?

I think a heavy day didnt suit us either. No fast start, and we were always going to tire as we have recently....that doesnt change in a week.

8 days break then a game under the roof at Etihad should have the team performing better. Then hopefully really lift for what will be a dry but tough day out in Fremantle. Watching their midfield group run around and yeah I kind of now think differently - hard to see matching them. Mighty impressive. I hope we get Cooney back by then...

Its a bit disappointing we don't have Cooney and Myers available to drop our poorests midfielders. Because they need it.

7 goals from our turnovers. Not going to win many doing that. :(

Like I said elsewhere, wet weather Footy means get it and belt it forward. Forget drills and fancy shit.....all about metres gained and keeping in the F50.

Played the exact opposite. Just dumb dumb footy
