What's McGrath done to his knee?

edit: likely pcl, not acl. Not good news but it could be much worse.

Something mysterious about their lack of decision making.

There is simply no explanation for not paying several holding the ball / incorrect disposal decisions in that quarter. f****** disgusting.

Hard to believe we were in front in the last quarter. Difference between the 2 sides shone out in the last 15 minutes. They are a seasoned team. We’re just emerging / developing. We fatigued big time in the last 15 minutes.

Baccha Houli looks like my grandfather but he can still run the legs of the young uns😁😉😆.
I'm disappointed but we definitely have lessons to learn so let the learning continue. Still think we might snag the eight.though. wait and see

Come on tell me I am one eyed, tell me Richmond are amazing but please..

DONT TELL ME THOSE CORRUPT UMPIRES DID NOT HAVE A MAJOR INFLUENCE IN MOST OF THEIR GOALS.
MARGHETTS BANK RECORDS NEED A ROYAL COMMISSION FFS

That’s it that all.

I am still proud of my Bombers. Injuries contributed to the fade out. We were amazing to get in front despite the umpires best efforts to get a microscope out and forensically find dubious frees for these c unts all fu cking night fu cking long.

We can beat this most jammartsiest and obnoxious of sides ever to have played the game. Grimes should have been taken out because he is Grimes. Same goes for most of these rest of their team they are seriously just hatefully annoying.

They showed why they're defending champs.

As proud as I was for 3.5 quarters.

That last 10 mins was abysmal, we folded badly.

Explain why at least half a dozen blatant holding the balls are not paid against them which lead directly to goals to them then?

Explain how having a passing finger on a Richmond player is in the back?

Explain the first 2 free kicks? They simply were not there. It happened all game long. It ruined the game.

They probably would still beat us but please don't pretend they don't get a corruption level armchair ride from the umpiring.

We didn't fold so much as run out of legs and fit players. Folding would have meant we didn't even offer a whimper.

Ham snaps the goal instead of handballing to Sringer who misses and we could be having an entirely different conversation.

Yep.

We were dead on our feet.
They rallied and got the run, the better of everything, were more composed and experienced...which happens in this gloriously, frustrating indigenous game.

39 points flattered them.
But will Truck will hopefully draw on this game for weeks and seasons ahead.

Free kick count Essendon 12 , Whingemond 17

Of the 17 they had at least half were utter crap.

Of all the tackles we laid about 10 of 46 were definitely holding the ball or incorrect disposal.

I don't care what anyone says that corrupt umpiring has affect in the outcome.

Yeah, a few frees went against us. Affected the outcome? Nope.
Jeez MH, it'd be good to see a post after a loss where you had something more constructive to say than "we was robbed!".
And....since you mentioned tackles...we made 46 allegedly. Pitiful. Our season average is 62. If we'd made more tackles we might have had a chance.
