And just like the Reserves, we are struggling against a team that lost by 20 goals last week.

Thank f*** for Stringer.

Dreamtime might turn into a Nightmare.

Ridley and Redman have saved us in defence.

We must be going for an all time record of fumbling and slipping over. FMD.

What boots are they f****** wearing?

FFS - everyone except Scott and the Essendon Selection Panel knew that Goldstein was cooked and needed either a rest or someone to help him out.

The result - Nankervis is carving us up with 33 hitouts and 9 contested possies to Goldie's 13 hitouts and 5 contested possessions.

Nankervis is giving the Richmond small forwards amazing service and they are responding.

Our forwards can't even kick behinds - 3 OoTF in a row while kicking on goal.

Geez we are missing Parish tonight.

Geez we make it hard on ourselves.

Fantastic quarter by Hind. 15 possessions in the last quarter and was running the ball as well. Was probably the difference in the last quarter. Him and Bolton getting injured.

Ridley the difference over the game.

One of the worst victories I've ever seen. Ridley and Hind were good. Can't think of any other positives.

Another positive was we didn't lose... though it felt a hell of a lot like it.

Well… despite them have 18 injuries on their list… I’ll take the narrow win.

We’re a game and a half locked into the top 4.

Ridley was simply outstanding. Absolute clinic tonight.

Redman excellent. Zachy as well.

Hind was fantastic. Laverde too.

Nick Bryan must come in next week. Give Goldy a break.

Another shit show like last week…apart from Riddles. Without him and Redman were would have lost.
Big shoutout to Hynd in the last quarter and the skipper all game.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

First time in 23 years we find ourselves in the top 2 after 11 rounds.

My word we had to work for that win :-s

Conditions were slippery and dewy by the looks of things. Still, pressure applied means pressure implied in the sense of forcing rushed decisions and disposals. That, and the rush to get ball and move meant a fumble here, and slip there.

It was a high pressure game that’s for sure. Have to acknowledge some good performances on the night (and mention some stragglers)…

Uppers:
Riddler! Brilliant game
Hindy - one of the best games I’ve seen him play
Zachity - outstanding leader. Such a cool customer.
Strings - box office tonight
Lavs - some of his 1 %ers were just brilliant
Duz - Bull Durham at his raging best
Red Dog - just controls everything
Langers - strong hards, straight kicks. Mr Consistent.
Caddyshack - nice debut. Looks good!

Downers:
Goldy - needs a break I think.
2MP - just didn’t look threatening.
Gresho - needs to nail some goals.
Perko - may have had a specific role… but couldn’t really get into it

Over and out

Great in one sense, though we all know there's a way to go yet. This is us we're talking about. We could still go pearshaped and end up with only 9 or 10 Wins knowing us.But if these guys are good enough,as they've been after a mediocre early 2 games, they can send the Season deep into September.

If they get that opportunity, take all you can get, including the Ultimate if it is presented to the guys!

Have to happy we're on 34 points,rather than 12 or 16.
