Spot on there. He is a passenger in a good team, which makes him look better. MMM reckon he is the barometer of the Sydney team. I reckon he only plays well when the team is playing well. He will never turn a game and will never play a good game when the team is playing crap.

Agree totally, both Swannies and Essendon won on the deal, Dempsey is agreat pickup.

Where was he going to play? Coudln't hold CHB, he's not better than NLM or McPhee. We have so many forward options now.

and we got Dempsey.

Good result all round I'd say.

Seems to be filling a hole quite well up there, based on Saturday night's effort.

He would be enjoying getting the very regular game time he is getting too.

He is f****** useless. 1 descent game a year does not consist of a descent contribution in any standards. In fact Bolton has been twice as good this season with his two good games.

Ted is an underachieving hack, who will never be anything and the fact we got Dempsey for him was one of the most positive trade/draft descisions our club has made since trading Salmon to the Hawks.

Demps will have more good games next season than Ted has had in his career to date.

Can't agree that he has been that bad this year.

He's done well to break into a premiership team. He's been played in roles quite foreign to him (back-up ruck for one).

Least a - he's been given a regular go and b - has earned it through effort.

Richards is playing a little like Headland was when he was at Brisbane. Played like a superstar for a season then went to Freo and did squat. WHile Richards isn't exactly playing like a superstar, he's been a much better player over there than he ever was for us. He can hold his own at the moment, whereas at Essendon he was useless.

He was obviously picked up to do a job and he seems like he must be doing it. He is ok and still getting regular games... then again the same could almost be said about Mark Bolton.
