Bombers at $3.50?

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

jimmy, thats what many were also saying to me when I had my last bet on essendon, $50 on us against crows at $3.50

i just go $3.60 then at TAB for sydney
Yes ZRS...you also backed us against the Crows last year at AAMI when i gave you the notional odds of $10. If memory serves, we went oh-so-close but just fell away in the end to lose by a lazy 138 points .
yeah, I still owe you $5 from that

but this is different, this time im sure :P

I do however think we can give it a real shake. I definitely think we'll get a lot closer than 43 points, which is how much we lost by last time at the SCG.
I think we are great value this week. Richmonds form isn't that bad. They ran Adelaide to 9 points over there the week before they played us.

Not sure that we will win but $3.50 is way over.
Maybe. But then Adelaide took 110 minutes to beat Carlton (who are the second worst team in the league) last week, nearly lost to Richmond the week before and beat the Lions, who are in the middle of a bad form slump, the week before that. I don't think Adelaide are going that well right now.

All a matter of perspective.
Not only that... they lost to Melbourne today.

Not me! Sounds like a few people did - good on them. I honestly thought we'd get close, but Sydney always seems to win those close ones (unless they're against West Coast). But not tonight!

Get this. I had $7.00 left in my TAB account and was looking around for the most value for money bet to whack on the Essendon Sydney game and took the following.

$3 on Essendon for exact margin 1-2 points @ 35-1
$2 on Draw at 51-1
$2 on Sydney for exact margin 1-2 points at 31-1

So I collected $105 buckaroonies on a $7 outlay. Now if only I'd done the double with the draw in the Tigers game.

Anyway I was watching it with my Sydney supporting other half, he was absolutely spewing and I was absolutely rapt. That kick by Buchanan I swear would have gone through last year. I think the footy gods are smiling on us at the moment.

It was fantastic effort by the whole team and coaching staff. Lets keep going Dons !!!!

Would have been $320 profit if you took my advice and took the $4.20 that was being offered on Betfair

Not quite as brave.

Took $3.50 for $50 and 39 points plus at $14 x $5. The 2nd bet was certainly optimistic, but agree with Filth that $3.50 in a two horse race is too tempting to overlook.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

A mate who came up from Melbourne had $50 and got $3.85. The idiot lost his ticket from the SCG back to the pub. He wasn't happy. Made worse by us all laughing at him.
