5. Hird. The second coming.
4. Fletch. Kept a cool head and saved the game in the last seconds.
3. Winders. Ran his guts out.
2. Slats. Kerr?, Oh, the guy who dismissed Whitlam.
1. Lucas. 5 goals, enough said.

Pev unlucky

Pev > Judd
Hird > WC
Hille > Cox/Seaby
Winderlich - Considering we lost a hard runner in Stants, top effort.
Slattery > Kerr

Happy with those 5. Hard to pick the order.

5 - Fletch , keeps cool head, so often is in the right place, makes the right decisions and just gets that fist to everything
4 - Hird, befor the ump throws the ball you can see that hird is going to get it, and whala, next thing it is in his mits.
3 - Pev, was just fantastic, and had 30 pos as well as limiting judd
2 - lucas, 5 goals, and difficult shots too.
1 - slatts, I think kerr is west coasts best, most damaging player, totaly destroyed by slatts tonight, and as someone mentioned early, has a great tackaling techneique
actually want to add licka in there too, ran till he spewed, he really made a big differene in the comeback.

apoligies hille, jobe

8.Hird
7.Hille
6.Slatts
5.Winder
4.Lucas
3.Pev
2.Jobe
1.Campo (yes, I'm serious, his early goals kept our heads above the poo-line)

Lol 8 players dingus? There were certainly that many.

3. Hird- Champion. Need I say more?
2. Fletcher- Another champion. AA must.
1. Winderlich- Will be a champion. Getting better and better. Has been in my votes almost as much as any other player this year.

Unlucky to miss were Slatts, Hille, Jobe, Lucas, Lloyd, Pev, pretty much everyone except mcphee.

Maybe I'm drunk (in fact, I am drunk), but this made me chuckle stupidly. Great stuff.

3. Hird - best Dons player I have seen, and will ever see.
2. Fletcher - our most important player.
1. Peverill - the most unlikely of stars.

Would like to give votes to half the side but...

3. Winderlich - some of the best gut running in recent memory from an EFC player
2. Hird - Vintage
1. Hille - took apart arguably the best big man going around. Arrived?

3. Hird
2. Hille
1. Can't split Slattery, Winderlich, Lloyd, Fletcher and Lucas.

Lloyd's bump on selwood and tackle at the start of the last quarter set the tone... I haven't seen him that pumped up in years. I also noticed that there was no talking back to umpires - Lloyd inspired rule?

He's growing into a beast of a captain... Sorry I doubted you Matty!

3. Hird (infinitely strengthens the case for human cloning)
2. Hille (Can't underestimate how important he was in the middle and at the stoppages)
1. Winderlich (best game I've seen him play...the look on his face when he went to the bench in the last quarter was something else...he had given it everything he had)

Apologies to Pev, Slatts, Fletch & Scotty
