Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

I thought Johns looked really good in the backline today. No idea why he didn't come in for Fletcher. Only problem is he goes to mark it every time, even when he is behind and its going straight into the hands of the forward. Needs to learn how to punch.

Hocking was fairly quiet and I felt Reimers didn't do a lot outside of his goals.

Lonergan was very good up forward.

Bendigo needs to get some talls into their team. No tall targets up forward and no ruckmen. The Plummer who rucks is not good enough for senior VFL level and they now can't rely on Essendon to provide ruckmen.

I also thought Flaherty did a pretty good job on Sautner. Would have only kicked 4 if Johnson hadn't given away a stupid free.

Saw glimpses that Chartres might be alright in the future too.

I agree. He got a lot of footy, but didn't use it too well. And how shit were his second efforts? Too often the ball would hit the deck and he'd just stand and watch. Not good enough for a senior player.
