Well, going by Sundays performance and the fact we cant play at the 'G, if we beat Carlton, then we know for sure that they are tanking.

Our esteemed leader Vlad himself has come out today.... and said that the priority pick is here to stay.

Work that one out.

AFL boss Andrew Demetriou says anyone suggesting the priority draft pick system tempts clubs to tank matches is "delusional" and the scheme will not be changed.

Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse was among those this week to suggest scrapping priority picks would eliminate innuendo about teams wanting to lose, although he was adamant no coach would ever throw games.

But AFL chief executive Demetriou said it was pointless for people to keep calling for change, because the league would not be budging.

"We won't be looking at it and hopefully that will stop the debate, but it probably won't, it gets oxygen every week," Demetriou told reporters.
Fair dinkum...if these blokes were politicians they`d be thrown out on the street for their unbelievable arrogance. "No, everyone is wrong. Now stop talking about it." Absolute disgrace.

The competition is holding together solely on the back of supporters passion for their individual clubs.

Umm... no they wouldn't. Just take a look at John Howard, Mike Rann, Peter Beattie, etc etc. Re-elected again and again and again...
