Definitely not a given, but we'll win.
Hirdy will put in a blinder and the rest of the guys will be fired up, Sheeds will be right "on his game".
With a massive home crowd, the place is going to be electric. Can't wait. :D

We must win. We could have a slow start like against Carlton, but we should get our act to together and win yet another thriller.

We haven't smashed anyone all year, except Brisbane.

This will be close, but we simply have to win this. Tigers don't have to win, although they would like to, they don't have to. Essendon HAS TO WIN THIS.

This will be huge!! Members is totally sold out which is the key barometer to a massive crowd.

Forcast is great. I believe that this is as close to a finals type atmosphere that we will experience this year so make the most of it.

1st prize for making the finals on the remote chance that we do is most likely a trip to the SCG to play Sydney. I will be more than happy with 11 wins for the season.

If I have to watch Kepler Bradley play at the only game I"m going to get to this year, I'm going to spew.

Richmond will be demanding the ANZAC day game as a result of their ability to sell out the G against Essendon on the deluded belief that people are rolling up to see a superior football club at work.

Poor sad souls

With Hirdy in the side and such an inspiring player,We should tear em a new one.
No way the Boys will put in a gutless effort for the Great No.5. and Sheeds
Can't Wait till Sunday Mixed emotions.

Doesn't the saying go something like: don't count ya chickens.... :?:
I think we're all fully aware of what could transpire tomorrow evening. The Kangaroos seem to be the only club that does the milestone thing well. Having said that, I do think we'll win because of Hirdy and Sheeds and the whole occasion, but it's definitely not a given and I'm definitely not expecting a blowout.

I agree with you, bombers_rock. It is certainly not a given. Emotion/milestones sometimes helps, though it can also be a distraction. Hirdy's 250th certainly didn't go well for us, but let's keep the fingers crossed for this one.

Regrettably 21 players thought it would be a given

Disgraceful Effort

Sorry Jim

Well I may as well have watched Bradley run around for 2 hours. That was just as bad.
